Those of us who have served overseas or been abroad have a different perspective then most who have never ventured abroad. We understand firsthand how rough life is in different countries and how ‘good we have it’ here at home. Yet, those that serve our nation are finding it increasingly difficult to get a job and live that American dream they fought so hard for, because of unseen obstacles of getting a job in Corporate America: Creating a Resume that conveys the right Skill Sets wanted in the Corporate world, Networking via a virtual landscape (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to get a foot in the door, and understanding Corporate Culture and how to thrive in it.
HirePatriots has an expansive network of both professionals and community members that help veterans, both active and retired, by providing an avenue for employment through our free Jobs Boards where they can look for 1 day jobs, part time jobs, full time / salary jobs, and contractual work. We leverage our vast network in order to help our veterans meet with professionals in order to achieve their professional goals. We support and assist our veterans during the transitions of deployment and from being a Service member to Civilian through our Patriotic Hearts charity.
As a Professional Mortgage Banker at Bay Equity Home Loans, I interact and work with 100’s of people every month from a plethora of different Industries, which allows me the opportunity to connect highly skilled individuals with each other that might not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet.
This is why I joined HirePatriots and work at Bay Equity Home Loans: We help Veterans finance their Homes using their VA Loan benefit, support & contribute to our Wounded Warriors through the Wounded Warrior Foundation, and support our veterans in finding jobs at HirePatriots through our contributions to Patriotic Hearts, a non-profit.

Jeff served on board the USS Independence, as an Aviation Ordinance person in the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department , while foreign deployed in Yokosuka Japan from December 95’ until its decommissioning in Bremerton WA in 98’.
