I write about everything that helps US veterans, the organizations that support them, and US small businesses. And I propose to my readers that they also become involved in our important cause. Towards that end, I also write about HirePatriots' exclusive Cause Marketing strategy to promote the businesses that support us. And I introduce ways that patriots and veterans can earn an income from home or office through HirePatriots.com. HirePatriots.com is a program of Patriotic Hearts 501c3. We encourage US residents to post Day Job for their local veterans. And we allow any business to post their jobs and search our resumes for free too.

HRACO and OHIO Combat Veterans joining our efforts!

Last week I drove to Columbus to meet Christine Franz with Human Resource Association of Central OHIO (HRACO) and Daniel Hutchinson, veteran and founder of OHIO Combat Veterans. I was excited to meet them since they are all about helping veterans find jobs.
HRACO’s history goes back to 1944 serving Human Resource professionals, small business owners and managers throughout central OHIO. Christine Franz serves on a committee that is tasked with helping our OHIO veterans find jobs. She volunteers with this non-profit organization and has done extensive research looking for other organizations that are helping our heroes. As the OHIO Regional Leader of HIREPATRIOTS.COM I was very excited to receive Christine’s call. She was very interested in learning more about HIREPATRIOTS’ mission and wanted to work with us. Christine introduced me to Daniel Hutchinson.
Veterans often feel isolated, alone and depressed after returning home from combat. It’s very important for them to fit back into society and be productive again. Daniel’s mission and passion is to help veterans of the Global War on Terror transition back to civilian life as stress-free as possible. To accomplish this he helps veterans navigate through the bureaucracy of government, how to write resumes, find jobs, organizes activities such as social mixers, hikes, monthly runs and kayaking. I expect great things to be happening in OHIO with our organizations working together to help our country’s heroes. There’s no better way to thank a veteran and his family for his sacrifice and service than to help him find jobs. They put their life on the line for our freedom, it’s the least we can do is to help them get back on their feet.
