Job in Microscopy for Veterans
A Career in Microscopy
A leader in the field of electron microscopy. Due to growth, we are currently seeking an experienced FIB/SEM field service engineer to service equipment in the Southern California area. This position is responsible for the maintenance, defect finding, repair, and installation of electron microscopes. This includes providing emergency site maintenance and parts replacement, maintaining stock of spare parts and the appropriate service records, as well as a customer focused mentality. Travel is required, including travel to our factories in the United Kingdom and Germany.
The successful candidate should have several years of experience in the semiconductor industry with E-beam technology, photo mask technology, FIBs and SEMs and excellent communication skills. A technical degree and relevant field service experience in the scientific instrument field is required. Windows 2000/XP experience and knowledge of vacuum technology is a plus.
The salary is $65-75K, OT applies, and a vehicle provided.
