Last evening I had the pleasure of speaking with about 20 veterans about entrepreneurial opportunities and maybe even starting their own small business.  I have spoken with groups before about this subject, but last night was pretty special.  It was different because the room was filled with young veterans, who already realize the importance of preparing themselves for the future.These veterans are taking advantage of the post 9/11 GI Bill benefits and furthering their education.  They are enrolled at the University of South Florida.  GO BULLS!During our session last evening, I challenged these veterans to look inside themselves and...

As mentioned in an earlier blog, I wanted to write more about Sgt Joel Tavera and his new home which is being built in Tampa.

Our commitment to serving Florida Veterans starts right in our local community. We have partnered with The LOLA News and will periodically write articles about veteran related issues in our local community.

Our primary goal is to help Veterans in Florida find job opportunities, but more importantly, we are in the business of helping veterans. A few weeks ago we were approached by a group of local fireman about a project to help build a home for an injured veteran. How could we say no?
