I often speak about HirePatriots with veteran organizations, veterans, and other people that have a heart for helping veterans. One of the questions usually asked is, “How can I help?”

Last week the Aurora Sentential did a piece in their paper regarding one of our veterans 1st Lt. As mentioned in an earlier blog, I wanted to write more about Sgt Joel Tavera and his new home which is being built in Tampa.

Our commitment to serving Florida Veterans starts right in our local community. We have partnered with The LOLA News and will periodically write articles about veteran related issues in our local community.

Our primary goal is to help Veterans in Florida find job opportunities, but more importantly, we are in the business of helping veterans. A few weeks ago we were approached by a group of local fireman about a project to help build a home for an injured veteran. How could we say no?

We recently sat down and spend some time with a Army Ranger Special Forces veteran who recently used Colorado Hire Patriots to find both an one-day job and later a full-time job with Exodus Moving and Storage.  Exodus is headquartered in Ft.
